We are currently accepting applications for a second shift Receiver. The Receiver has responsibilities to run overhead cranes and move material as needed, obtains the schedule, shipping documents and steel for authorized inbound shipments. Position requires measuring material, reading charts, tags, and written procedures and completing paperwork. Qualified candidate must be able to use operating software, run overhead cranes, use lift devices, obtain a forklift license, and be able to use calipers, tape measure, micrometer, hand tools, and plasma cutters.

Magic Steel is accepting applications for a second shift Maintenance Mechanic. This position has responsibilities for the maintenance of all plant equipment and facilities including maintaining a preventative maintenance program, repairing, installing, modifying, and/or relocating equipment, maintaining facility and grounds, administrative functions, and safety compliance. Must have mastery of pneumatics, hydraulics, industrial electrical (AC/DC) and welding (oxy/acet/arc/wire); must provide own hand tools and be able to qualify for a hi-lo license. A degree in maintenance, or the equivalent, is preferred.
Applications are being accepted for a first shift Banding Line Operator. This position has responsibilities to ensure correct packaging of coils on the banding line, operating the automatic banders, training line helpers on equipment, and following the packaging schedule as directed by supervisor. Position requires standing/walking 100% of the time, lifting up to 50 pounds as needed; reading charts, tags and written procedures; printing legibly to complete all required paperwork and using measuring material as required.
This person must be able to qualify for a hi-lo license; to use a tape measure, a band breaker, pneumatic bander/crimper, hand bander, hand cutters, staple gun, electric shears and nibblers; to operate jib crane, ID/OD calculator wheel; and run computer tag program.
