Junior Network Administrator

Magic Steel is accepting applications for a Junior Network Administrator who is responsible for organizing, modifying, installing, protecting and supporting the company computer systems. Assists in the design and installation of LANs, WANs, Internet and intranet systems, and network segments. Maintenance Technician / Multi-Craft (3rd Shift) – Decatur AL

Magic Steel is accepting applications for a third shift Maintenance Technician. This position has responsibilities for the maintenance of all plant equipment and facilities including maintaining a preventative maintenance program, repairing, installing, modifying, and/or relocating equipment, maintaining facility and grounds, administrative functions, and safety compliance. Must have mastery of pneumatics, hydraulics, industrial electrical (AC/DC) and welding (oxy/acet/arc/wire); must provide own hand tools and be able to qualify for a hi-lo license. A degree in maintenance, or the equivalent, is preferred.

Banding Line Operator (2nd Shift) – Decatur, AL

Applications are being accepted for a second shift Banding Line Operator. This position has responsibilities to ensure correct packaging of coils on the banding line, operating the automatic banders, training line helpers on equipment, and following the packaging schedule as directed by supervisor. Position requires standing/walking 100% of the time, lifting up to 50 pounds as needed; reading charts, tags and written procedures; printing legibly to complete all required paperwork and using measuring material as required.

This person must be able to qualify for a hi-lo license; to use a tape measure, a band breaker, pneumatic bander/crimper, hand bander, hand cutters, staple gun, electric shears and nibblers; to operate jib crane, ID/OD calculator wheel; and run computer tag program.
